Summertime at the Zoo!

I'm going to apologize before I even get started because it has been an entire MONTH since I last posted (babies do a heck of a lot in a month's time in case you didn't know and were wondering what the big deal was)! Mommy got super busy with the end of the school year rolling around and everything, but now I have her all to myself until the beginning of August! There are some pictures in here that have nothing to do with my summer so far (since it only began a couple days ago), but I thought you'd enjoy them anyway.

Here we go! Hold on to your butts!

This is me big pimpin' in one of the Ed Hardy shirts my Aunt Tina and Uncle Dan gave me for my birthday. Check out the killer smile!
Again, looking oh so sweet in my Ed Hardy shirt:
Okay, here's another doggie one daddy narrated:
"Gimme the ball Jack..."
"Jaaackkk..."
"Here you go Toby!"
I'm sure my daddy already told you about my very first professional haircut. At first glance, you would've never known I needed one...I mean, come on guys...Okay, well, when you pull it up like that...!
"You better be serious when you say it'll all grow back!!!"
Not bad...not bad at all! Look at my new fresh boy! I'm a clean little stunna! My dad's slang has been rubbing off way too much!
Okay, now that the little tidbits are taken care of, I have to tell you about my awesome adventure with mommy at the zoo yesterday! Yup! First day off and we hit up the zoo! It was so amazing, and I even got a stuffed polar bear out of it!
These turtles were so cool!

And the Komodo Dragons too!

These birds were everywhere at the zoo! They call to one another, run all over the place, and we even saw one with all of its feathers displayed. Mommy said that the boys show off their pretty feathers because they want to find a wife. I wonder if I'll have feathers to show off when I'm ready to get married...
I have no clue who these kids are, but I wanted to show you a picture of all the cute goslings! They're all over this time of year, but there are warnings everywhere not to touch them. Geese can be very aggressive if they have to be to protect their babies. I guess that comes with being a mommy or daddy, though, because I know if anyone ever tried to mess with me, my mommy and daddy would have my back too.
My mommy and me went for a ride on this cool choo choo train too! I've never ridden a train before!
This was taken out by the gorillas. My mommy and daddy call this my "sweet face".
Me and moms chillin' with the penguins:

This was at Bird World. I had to stand on my tippy toes so I could see all of the birds inside.
And last, but not least, mommy's favorite: the African Wild Dog. A lot of people mistake these doggies for hyenas, but they are soooo much cuter than hyenas! I wish I could take one home, but Jack would probably tell him to stick Africa up his bum.
And, finally, some more tidbits to sandwich in the zoo adventure:
GO NUGGETS!
"Fruit Salad...yummy, yummy!" Wiggles? No? Haven't heard of them? Well, my mommy used to rub her bulging belly and sing this to me when I was in there! Now I actually get to eat fruit salad (my mommy makes it homemade!), and it is yummy yummy!
That's all folks!

Easter

My birthday actually fell on Easter this year. That's only going to happen three more times in my entire life! Unless, that is, by the time I reach my ninety-whateverth birthday, they come up with a way for people to become immortal. That would be so cool. I could be bionic!

Anyway, my cousin Bayli was here for my birthday, so mommy and daddy made sure to let the Easter Bunny know that she would be at my place. That rabbit sure is smart because he left baskets for both of us!
Caption for the pic below: And it's okay to accept stuff from some giant rabbit that snuck into my house in the middle of the night, right mom?

1st Birthday

Hello everyone! Since most of you came to my party, it isn't news to you that I am now officially one year old! Can I get a woot woot?! Anyway, my party was great! I got to make a mess and stuff my face with cake, Elmo was EVERYWHERE, and I got hooked up with some sweet presents! Here are some of the better pics from that memorable day:

This is a picture of the cake that my guests ate. I, of course, was special enough to get my very own cake!

This was my cake:

Mommy got me all set up in my birthday chair and everyone sang Happy Birthday. I was quite taken aback that everyone was singing just for me!

I can eat this, right mom?

Ahhhh, the bliss of being able to make a mess and not get in trouble for it!

Do I have something on my face?

Clean up, clean up, everybody everywhere! Clean up, clean up, everybody do your share!

Check out all of the sweet clothes I got. My stud factor is going to go up so high this summer!

And who could forget Elmo? Grandma and grandpa got me Elmo Live. It is so cool!

This one took me forever to open!

Getting to be such a Big Boy!

It seems like I learn how to do something new almost every week! The past few weeks have been quite an experience for me. I've learned how to do laundry, how to cook, how to eat big boy food (and feed myself I might add), I'm cruising furniture, and I also know how to do everything but walk. What about talk, you ask? Oh, I talk! You just can't understand me yet! Anyway, let's get to the good stuff.

Here's a pic of me looking like a pimp before picture day:

Mom thinks it's funny to take pictures of me eating. It's kind of embarassing because I'm a bit of a messy eater, but she insited I include them. Here you go!

We started off with small stuff...He shoots...

He scores!

Then we moved on to messier and better!

Here's a picture of me helping mommy sort laundry:

And this is me helping mommy cook!

I threw these pics in here too. Mommy and daddy were going to save this for my birthday, but there was just no transporting it back and forth to Auntie Jen's house. That's their excuse. I think I'm just so cute, they can't resist giving me presents early!

Gearin' Up for the Big Uno!

Hi everyone! Yesterday I visited Kiddie Kandids again to get my pictures done for my first birthday. I wasn't too thrilled about some strange lady acting all crazy to try to get me to smile, though. In fact, she flat out made me scream my head off! Luckily, daddy was there to save the day to get some big smiles out of me! Your personal pics should be arriving in the mail in the next couple of weeks! We didn't get prints for everyone in every pose, but if you don't receive one that you like, mommy would be more than happy to print one off for you because she has the portrait archive CD at home.

A lot has Happened!

Whew! I can't even begin to describe to you how busy my life has been! So much has happened in the past month and a half! I've slimmed up, gotten a bit taller, and I've even said my first word: "doggie"!

Anyway, let's get to it: the updates!

Sorry...I had to throw in that sweet picture of me! Well, I'm a cruisin' machine now! I LOVE getting into everything. I army crawl all over the place now and pull myself up on to just about everything. Daddy thinks I'm going to be walking by my first birthday, but mommy's not so sure.

These are a couple pics of me and my favorite dog, Toby. He's the only one of my two dogs who lets me do just about anything I want to him. He also thinks it's his job to watch over me.

I have a few favorite past times now, and one of them is helping mommy cook. This is one of her best dishes! She has been cooking every night of the week lately since daddy got a new job. I think she's doing a pretty good job myself.

Another favorite past time of mine is wrestling. I love squishing my face against my mommy and daddy's!

I'm such a big boy now that I don't even use bottles anymore! I LOVE my sippy cup!

Oh, P.S. check out this sweet shirt I bought at Target!

Oh my gosh! I can't even believe I forgot to tell you that my cousin Bayli came to visit me! She was so tiny, but according to her mom, she's beefing up now. I can't wait to see her again on my birthday!

Hey! I like paci's too! Can you blame me?

Mommy thinks this picture is funny because of how pale I make her look! I eat so many orange and yellow vegetables that my skin has this yellow-orange tinge to it! I'm working on the greens; they're just so nasty!

This is my cheeser face! I was being a goof with daddy!

Daddy had to give me a talk about how to be a pimp. I listen very intently when it comes to learning how to improve my chi!

What can I say? I'm just a born stud!

I like being goofy! Putting food on my head is one of my many goofy talents!
Oh yeah! Remember how I was telling you I might have to get tubes put in my ears? It turns out I did have to, but they're really small. You can't even see them! We still have to go back to the doctor's, though, because right now my tubes are clogged with ear drainage. Pretty nasty, huh? These are pics of me in the hospital (they made me wear a cheesey dress with koalas on it), and I even got to take home a teddy bear!

I'm a pretty wild sleeper these days, but this just happens to be one of the funniest positions I work myself into!

Another favorite past time...helping mommy with chores. I like to unload the silverware from the dishwasher and take out all the clean laundry from the basket so mommy can fold it!

Like I said, I climb on everything now! He's going for it...

He scores!

'Til next time!
