Who would've known that a big, fat guy in a red suit could make one day so magically spectacular?! I thought getting a few gifts here and there from family members on Christmas Eve was great. I'd never opened a present before, and that sensation when you tug just a bit to hear rrriiiippppp...well, it was really something. So, anyway, yeah...I got a few gifts on Christmas Eve because mommy and daddy said the tradition was to do family gifts on that day, and then open presents from this guy named Santa the next day on Christmas. At first I was like, who's Santa? I'd never met him before, and the lines were always too long to go see him at the mall. To tell you the truth, I was a bit freaked out that some strange guy would be sneaking into my house in the middle of the night. But I have to hand it to that guy. He has never even met me, and I got toys up the wazoo! Thanks Santa! I'll make sure I'm extra good next year so I can get even more presents the next time Christmas rolls around! On Christmas Eve, I opened up this great piano from my Grandma and Grandpa Daigle, a Batmobile and Batcycle from my great-grandma Barbara, a ball popping game from my Aunt Desi and Uncle Tommy, and a cool train from my cousin Mikayla. Micah played on it with me to help me learn how to use it.
SANTA CAME!!!
I think maybe mommy and daddy stuck a bow on my head because they think I'm the greatest present EVER!
Even a snotty nose couldn't ruin my Christmas!

Hi Joe,
Looks like you had a ball on Christmas. Now you have trucks and everything to play with. Tell your Mommy thanks for the pictures. You sure look cute!
See you on your first birthday.
Love,
Grandma and Grandpa
