A lot has Happened!

Whew! I can't even begin to describe to you how busy my life has been! So much has happened in the past month and a half! I've slimmed up, gotten a bit taller, and I've even said my first word: "doggie"!

Anyway, let's get to it: the updates!

Sorry...I had to throw in that sweet picture of me! Well, I'm a cruisin' machine now! I LOVE getting into everything. I army crawl all over the place now and pull myself up on to just about everything. Daddy thinks I'm going to be walking by my first birthday, but mommy's not so sure.

These are a couple pics of me and my favorite dog, Toby. He's the only one of my two dogs who lets me do just about anything I want to him. He also thinks it's his job to watch over me.

I have a few favorite past times now, and one of them is helping mommy cook. This is one of her best dishes! She has been cooking every night of the week lately since daddy got a new job. I think she's doing a pretty good job myself.

Another favorite past time of mine is wrestling. I love squishing my face against my mommy and daddy's!

I'm such a big boy now that I don't even use bottles anymore! I LOVE my sippy cup!

Oh, P.S. check out this sweet shirt I bought at Target!

Oh my gosh! I can't even believe I forgot to tell you that my cousin Bayli came to visit me! She was so tiny, but according to her mom, she's beefing up now. I can't wait to see her again on my birthday!

Hey! I like paci's too! Can you blame me?

Mommy thinks this picture is funny because of how pale I make her look! I eat so many orange and yellow vegetables that my skin has this yellow-orange tinge to it! I'm working on the greens; they're just so nasty!

This is my cheeser face! I was being a goof with daddy!

Daddy had to give me a talk about how to be a pimp. I listen very intently when it comes to learning how to improve my chi!

What can I say? I'm just a born stud!

I like being goofy! Putting food on my head is one of my many goofy talents!
Oh yeah! Remember how I was telling you I might have to get tubes put in my ears? It turns out I did have to, but they're really small. You can't even see them! We still have to go back to the doctor's, though, because right now my tubes are clogged with ear drainage. Pretty nasty, huh? These are pics of me in the hospital (they made me wear a cheesey dress with koalas on it), and I even got to take home a teddy bear!

I'm a pretty wild sleeper these days, but this just happens to be one of the funniest positions I work myself into!

Another favorite past time...helping mommy with chores. I like to unload the silverware from the dishwasher and take out all the clean laundry from the basket so mommy can fold it!

Like I said, I climb on everything now! He's going for it...

He scores!

'Til next time!

Haven't Talked to You for a While

Hi there! I know I haven't written for a while, so this is a "just because" post. The latest update on my life is that I'm getting over a double ear infection and pink eye (my fourth ear infection in four months), and mommy is trying to get over a really bad sinus infection. She has been talking really funny because her throat is so tore up, and she has been sleeping a lot too...just like me!

Anyway, the doctor told mommy that if I don't get through this ear infection, or if another one comes along soon, I'll probably have to get tubes in my ears. As scary as that sounds (because it is a surgical procedure), the doctor reassured mommy and daddy that they use the smallest amount of gas possible just to get me to fall asleep so they can put the tubes in place. Mommy's friend at work said that she was given the option to "scrub up" (I guess she was really dirty, so the doctor told her to go take a bath) and go with her son to the oh are. Now, that's all Greek to me, but mommy told daddy that she would if she was given the chance. I don't understand, though, because mommy takes baths all the time. Is she going to be taking one with me at the hospital? That's kind of weird, but whatever.

Well, I have a few more random pics for you. Grandpa, I've been getting at mommy for a while now to put this picture on my blog, and we finally got a good picture of me in the Notre Dame hat you gave me for Christmas. The only thing is, hats mess up my do, so I try to take them off as quickly as possible, but, just this once, I left it on long enough to get a pretty good picture. Uh hem...don't mind the pj's.
Let's see...this is one of me watching my favorite monster on Sesame Street...

This is the concentration it takes to watch Elmo...

This one is of me and my daddy goofing off. I LOVE riding on shoulders! Hey! He's wearing a Notre Dame hat that looks like mine! I hope my arms can be as big as my daddy's when I'm a grown up.

Mommy expected me to entertain myself with these things...how dumb does she think I am? I mean who is entertained by a couple of rings that don't do anything?

This one is of my messy morning hair, and it's a pretty good pic because you can see my two bottom teeth.
Say, "ahhhhhh!"

Bayli Dawn Neel

My cousin, and second girlfriend (if you recall, I already have one), was born on New Year's Eve at 12:44 PM. We weren't expecting her until around the end of January, but mommy and daddy told me the doctors had to cut her out of my Aunt Desi's belly early. The ambulotic fluid around her was low which probably alerted the ambulence, and she was breech. I wonder if that's the girl's name for underwear? Anyway, she arrived very healthy at only 5 pounds, 6 ounces, and she was 19 inches long. If you're wondering who the bear is from, you don't need to look very far!

A BIG Thank You!

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to those of you who helped to spoil me this Christmas. You hooked it up big time. Just so you know, you're ALL invited to my birthday party! My mommy was going to put these pictures in with the thank you cards we're mailing out, but the envelopes are too small to hold the pictures.

Uncle Ton hooked it up with what daddy calls "a Benji". I didn't see a dog anywhere, though. All I saw was a piece of paper that got magically turned into money when daddy stuck it in this cool machine at the bank. Anyway, I bought this zoo with some of the money Uncle Ton sent me. It sings songs about animals while the animals go 'round and 'round in circles.
I bought this toy box with the gift card my Grandma Kathy sent me and the money my Grandma Barbara sent me so mommy and daddy would stop almost breaking my toys by stepping on them. They used to spell out all sorts of words whenever they'd step on one. I can't spell yet, but I'm sure they probably spelled out something like, darn it you dumb piece of poop! My mommy, daddy, and me went to the craft store and bought these cool letters to spell out my name on my toy box. I think it added the perfect finishing touch.

My cousin Mikayla drew my name on my mommy's side of the family, and she got me this really cool train. I can ride on it, and then, when I'm bigger, I can take the caboose off, and use the engine to help me walk! The caboose also has a block for each letter of the alphabet. They're "smart blocks" because when I stick them into the holes on the engine, the train tells me what letter is on each block. There's also a cool shoot you can push the blocks through so they go from the engine to the caboose! This gift is particularly special to me because Mikayla is my girlfriend. I'm not sure whether or not she wanted me to tell everyone that, but I think she's the most beautiful girl in the world! Thank you Mikayla, mon amour!

My Aunt Desi and Uncle Tommy sent me this crazy game. When you push the buttons, the balls pop up and out, and you have to send them back down the shoot to start all over again! My dogs go nuts and I think it's hilarious to drive them crazy!

I already showed you this one, but I haven't talked about it. My Grandma Sue and Grandpa Ernie got it for me. It's a baby grand piano that sings songs, teaches colors and letters, and sounds like a real piano when you just want to play it! The sun on the song book even dances when the music plays! Maybe when I'm older I can be a pianist!

As I mentioned earlier, my Grandma Barbara also sent me some money. I used part of it for these sweet Batman toys and bongos, and the rest I used on my toy box. I like to hit things, so my mommy and daddy thought drums would be "a great outlet for my hitting." I'm not quite sure what that means though because I don't have a plug. I wonder if mommy and daddy think I'm a machine...should I tell them I'm a real live baby?

My Aunt Gina and Uncle Bill sent me some money too! Man, I'm just rollin' in it! Anyway, I used part of it for this sweet Colorado State hoodie. Mommy and daddy went to school there. They told me that I can go to college wherever I want, but that if I stay in Colorado I absolutely CANNOT go to CU. So, Go Rams, I guess!

My Aunt Tina and Uncle Dan gave me another "Benji", but mommy and daddy said I had to save it, along with the rest of my money, for summer clothes when they come out...Little do they know, I know how to get this thing open!

Sick

I've had this cough hanging on now for about a week, and when I started wheezing yesterday, mommy and daddy decided it was time to go to the doctor. They found another ear infection (surprise, surprise...it's only my third!), and started me on albuterol breathing treatments. Mommy and daddy got this cool little machine to take home with a purple dinosaur mask. I have to breathe in the albuterol for about ten minutes, three times a day. Eventually, mommy and daddy are supposed to wean me off little by little. It's not much fun, but it does help to loosen some of the gunk in my lungs.

Just so you're not sad for me, here are a couple random pics to cheer you up!

This is my latest game. Whenever my mommy or daddy are working on the computer when it's time for me to take a nap, I crawl up and play peek-a-boo over the edge of my bumper! I think it's hilarious!

CHRISTMAS!

Who would've known that a big, fat guy in a red suit could make one day so magically spectacular?! I thought getting a few gifts here and there from family members on Christmas Eve was great. I'd never opened a present before, and that sensation when you tug just a bit to hear rrriiiippppp...well, it was really something. So, anyway, yeah...I got a few gifts on Christmas Eve because mommy and daddy said the tradition was to do family gifts on that day, and then open presents from this guy named Santa the next day on Christmas. At first I was like, who's Santa? I'd never met him before, and the lines were always too long to go see him at the mall. To tell you the truth, I was a bit freaked out that some strange guy would be sneaking into my house in the middle of the night. But I have to hand it to that guy. He has never even met me, and I got toys up the wazoo! Thanks Santa! I'll make sure I'm extra good next year so I can get even more presents the next time Christmas rolls around!
On Christmas Eve, I opened up this great piano from my Grandma and Grandpa Daigle, a Batmobile and Batcycle from my great-grandma Barbara, a ball popping game from my Aunt Desi and Uncle Tommy, and a cool train from my cousin Mikayla. Micah played on it with me to help me learn how to use it.

SANTA CAME!!!

I think maybe mommy and daddy stuck a bow on my head because they think I'm the greatest present EVER!

Even a snotty nose couldn't ruin my Christmas!
